Phallic, primal, this brooding idol seems very close to the natural world, as old and wise as the stone from which he is carved. His eyes dominate his face, as though he observes the world without comment. Not carved on a particularly large scale, he nonetheless projects a stark, forceful presence which makes him seem monumental and awe inspiring.
