Her elongated, barrel-chested body perched precariously on the tiniest of stools; this ancient woman seems to wait restively for the return of a long-missing companion. With arms jutting out, hands on her waist, she gazes out with expressionless eyes, perhaps wondering where her children have been for so long. A down-turned mouth below her jutting nose suggest that their millennium-long absence has kept them out far past their usual curfew, and both her face and pose suggest a pensive, uneasy time. Surely their return will be met with a stern rebuke. Despite her extraordinary long wait, she has adorned herself very little, wearing only earspools, her torso and head covered with tattoo-like etchings.
