Centuries ago, during the golden age of Islam, this graceful vessel was perhaps filled with the perfume of jasmine or roses which scented the halls of some noble home. That world has faded like ancient flowers, yet in this lovely and delicate souvenir we can still appreciate the opulence and luxury of the age that created it. Rosewater sprinkler, qumqum, mould-blown green glass, tooled and with applied decoration; globular body, tall and tapering neck, resting on a raised round base; the body has honeycomb decoration and the lower part of the neck has a spiral trail.
