With her arms merged on her abdomen and her legs thrust to the side, this beautiful woman figure evokes a sense of authority. She can be characterized as the Chinesco style from her broad forehead and more rectangular face. Great attention has been gives to her hair, which is created by incised lines and parted in the middle. The artist has given her a tattooed face and adorned her with multiple earrings, a single nose ring, necklace, and armbands. Other than these adornments she is nude and her softly modeled body is polished in a burnished red. It is in the presence of this powerful female figure that we can witness the rich artistic traditions of the Nayarit people.
