To our absolute delight, this pregnant mother appears as though she is ready to have her baby. The artist has sensitively sculpted her full tummy and has emphasized her belly button. Interesting long arms cross above her tummy and she wears arm bracelets and beautiful earrings. Certainly, she is a lady of importance. Her forehead is high and the artist in depicting her expression has paid special attention. Her expression may be perceived differently by each of us. This is the gift the artist has given to us. A turban adorns her high forehead and long immaculately cut hair softly flows down her neck. The ancient artist so softly sculpts her. Her entire body swells and moves harmoniously to the beat of two hearts. How fortunate we are to dream of her life and the baby-to-be and of the culture she once belonged to.
