The object represents two conjoined, nude male figures of slightly differing heights with their genitalia prominently displayed. They are shown in identical positions, standing with their legs straight and their feet parallel to one another with their insteps touching on top of an hour-glass shaped base. Their arms are stretched out to the sides and slight raised, giving the distinct impression that the larger figure is cradling the head of the smaller figure who in turn appears to have his arm around that figure’s upper back. Their faces are rather summarily rendered and oval in shape with the mouth indicated by a horizontal incision, the eyes by round depressions into the metal, and the prominent nose by forming the metal into a triangular shape. The conception of the face does not differ significantly from those encountered on nearly contemporary terracotta figurines of fertility goddesses.
