A strong warrior-like figure strides to the right holding an object (perhaps a club or sword) over its head, is if about to strike an enemy. On the extreme right edge is a very nicely depicted slim tree; which, along with the ground line gives perspective to the entire spatial area. It is known that the ancient Syrians worshipped deities in human form, divinities of agriculture and fertility, of the sky and thunder, as protectors or bringers of military and commercial success. Perhaps this figure is one such deity revered at a time when the Greek world was only just beginning to make its presence known.
