This tablet has a total of 29 lines of Sumerian cuneiform on obverse and reverse, with cylinder seal impressions on the reverse above the date, and on upper, lower and left-side edges. It is dated to the reign of Damiq-ilishu, king of Isin in southern Mesopotamia, c. 1817-1794 B.C., to the 8th year of his reign.

Translation:


6 acres of undeveloped land, in the …lili estate, adjacent to (land of) Annesi, land of Supapum and Telishunut, his wife, daughter of Igibar-lusha.

3 1/2 shekels of silver were weighed out as its full price. Sin-eribam, son of Ilim-tayyar purchased it from Supapum and Telishunut his wife.

In the future, Supapum, Telishunut his wife, and as many heirs as there may be, may not claim the land. They swore by the king.
