This remarkable character demonstrates that not only the beautiful and perfect are depicted, but realism is also an important factor in the creation of a work of art. As the woman, who is partially clothed squats before us, we see that her face is done with great angularity and realism. That angularity creates an expression, that is quite rare in such a vessel. Her body decoration is also expressive, as is her body language. However, what is most interesting is the double hunch on her back, which is accentuated by the deep red paint that the artist has applied to them. Many facets of this work of art are extremely unique, and to become a part of the history of such apiece is a great honor. Yet when we remember under what conditions such a vessel was made, we realize that it was also a great accomplishment, and one that has been able to withstand the test of time.
