This beautiful red peking glass snuff bottle has a coral piece on its lid. The painted scene re- semble the life near the typical idealised scene typical of a Chinese pond of a beautiful house. The two goldfishes are typical metaphors of aboundance of gold while the two ducks represent loyalty. The inscription at the bottom reads “Made in Qianlong period” (1736-1796).
