This large example of a Chinese glass libation cup was obtained by casting and cutting the glass in the shape of a dragon, in the style of carved rock-crystal. Chinese dragon is associated with power, good luck and strength. Of handsome proportions, the dragon is modelled on the front of the horn, with its legs which function as a base for the vessel. Other decorations include geometric motifs beautifully carved on the glass body. The detailed decoration of this piece reflects the skills of its maker.
The piece is in very good conditions with all the decoration visible and intact.
