A cast clear glass vessel with lid in the form of a rhino, with a mythological beast on top. The glass is colourless and resembles the purity and brilliance of rock-crystal and it has been shaped using a mould.
The vessel is hollow, suggesting that it was intended to be used as a container. However, the design of the body does not seem functional for pouring water or wine, suggesting that it might have been used as a sort of perfume/incense burner. The style of the glass resembles similar vessels made in rock crystal. The vessel is in great conditions, with no sign of damage of the material and the glass does not show any signs of pitting or iridescence.
