An abstract pattern adorns the majority of the body of this vessel. Large red diagonal stripes outlined by two thinner black bands extend from the top of this segment to just above the base. The space between these red stripes is filled by an unusual motif of semi-circles with black slash marks inside. Thin red bands frame the top and bottom of this pattern. The top of the vessel is painted with a black band containing stylized human effigies. The slanting nose cuts into the open mouths. Concentric rings are the eyes. These figures perhaps ware headdresses that fall behind them. The upper lip of the vessel is painted red carrying on into the rim of the interior. This vase tells no story of the king, it takes no shape of an animal. The decorations of this vessel serve no purpose other than to please the eyes.
