The reign of Constantine marked a pivotal age in human history. A transitional point between the pagan era and the Christian one, between the classical world and the medieval one, Constantine’s reign changed the course of human events. As we hold this superb bronze token of that age, we are dimly aware of other hands holding it just so. Who were those people? What did they think about and dream?
