A picture of contentment, this magnificent man stands erect, while having his hands firmly placed in his pockets. Such an expression can only lead us to wonder why he is so happy, and smiles so beautifully. The decoration has been kept very simple, with only diagonal lines on his face, perhaps to denote which tribe he is from or what rank he is. The torso is kept unadorned, placing emphasis on the face and his stance. He stands in a completely relaxed pose, while looking directly at the viewer. Having his hands in his pockets is a charming image and very rare in such sculptures. He is an absolute pleasure to look at and his smile could disarm anyone, leaving us to smile all day.
