The body is in the shape of two tubes connected by a common wall and a flat base. Two handles rise from the middle of the body to the rim, where they are linked by a basket handle. An applies trail spirals around the body; the trail was wound before the vessel was divided into two tubes.
Vessels such as this were believed to have been used to store and apply kohl-eye makeup. The fact that they consist of two tubes meant that they could have been used to store two different colours of makeup. The long tube meant that a spatula could have been inserted.
