Created out of warm earthen colors, this beautiful figure stands tall and alert before us. His pose is rigid with large, wide hips, almost like that of a woman. The design of the decoration is geometric with the suggestion that he is wearing clothes. The holes that can be found around the body were possibly connected to a ritual activity of some sort. The face is simple yet seems to have a fierceness about it, with wide almond shaped eyes a straight, aquiline nose, and a grinning mouth. The face is covered with horizontal lines but there is no apparent jewelry, only body painting. This magnificent piece has been able to transcend time and capture a brief moment in history which time has forgotten.
