Bowl, underglaze-painted Sultanabad ware. This bowl is entirely different from, the previous two examples. It has a coloured, a grey ground and the decorative details are moulded and are reserved in white, like the three flying phoenixes and the leafs all around. This type of vessels clearly reveal the influence of Chinese art. Iran, Ilkhanid period, late 13th or early 14th century. Ht. 9.5cm; Top diam. 20cm; Base diam. 8cm.
