This is conical with a handle on top made like a reed house of Southern Mesopotamia, pierced sideways. The base - the stamp seal - shows an elaborate winged disc and two snakes. The sides have as the major item a winged disc above a highly stylized sacred tree. A hunting scene fill the remainder of the space. On the left is a kneeling archer aiming his bow at a rearing quadruped with big back-curving horns on the right. Between them a lunar crescent above a bush is placed.
This is an extremely unusual seal, using Assyro-Babylonian motifs, but in a distinctive fashion. And the stamp/cylinder is a very unusual form. Most likely it comes from eastern Anatolia and dates to c. 700-400 BC. It is in very god condition save from damage to the handle.
