Blue-glazed ewer with globular fluted body, slightly curved spout with double opening, three earloop handles attached to the rim and terminating on the belly. Incised and moulded floral decoration on shoulders and neck.
This vessel might have been inspired by contemporary metal ware, given the fluted effect on the body. Jug, monochrome glaze ware. Composite white fritware coated with a light blue glaze. The globular, partially fluted body rests on a splayed and unglazed foot-ring, has a wide slightly opening neck, double bent spout and three handles, each with a small knob on top.
Iran, 12th – 13th century. Prof. Geza Fehervar Prof. Geoffrey Kin
