Two wide horizontal bands of red slip border a central band of white to cover the body of this seated woman. Her solid legs are slightly apart and designed as supports like the rear legs of the 'chair' upon which she sits. The breasts are placed wide to allow for the short, withered arms to curl under them. Each of the arms is ornamented with three bracelets, her three necklaces of red slip are highlighted with white to give the impression of beads. Appliqued 'knobs' on the shoulders may indicate scarification or a protective covering. On her elongated head is a tight fitting raised headdress, which perfectly frames the face and accentuates the woman's delicate features. Variations of contrasting color shading, mottled areas and striations present a rich texture and adds to the overall character of the figure.
