Seemingly confined into a small space, the man sits crouched before us with a long face which is accentuated by a long beard and long facial features. Sculpted out of a rough stone material, the features are hidden by the natural fissures in the stone. However, this adds to the character of the face and to the whole sculpture.
No body decoration or scarification has been added, yet the artist has managed to create a piece of great mystery and curiosity, which was typical of the shaman of the time. They were mysterious men with many secrets and many skills. Using the materials that were available to him in the area, the artist was able to create a special work of art which would not only affect the people that were around him, but that it would continue to do so throughout the years, creating a true work of art.
