A wheel-thrown bowl with rounded flaring sides, inverted rim and short foot, surface areas retaining original green turquoise glaze, which was coated directly onto the biscuit. Some white calcification evident on exterior. Three small unglazed bosses are visible on the cavetto, evidence for firing spacers, that helped avoiding the bowls to stick one on top of the other. For a comparable example see; P.Morgan in E. Grube, Cobalt and Lustre. The Nasser D. Khalili Collection of Islamic Art, 1995: no. 352-4, p.310.
