A Hispano Moresque Deep Lustre Bowl, produced between the
16th and 18th centuries. This piece is finished in a contrasting
red and white, highlighting a central motif of a bird, which is
surrounded by feathers and Islamic patterning. This is an early
example of the Hispano Moresque ceramic craft, being produced
in the 16th century, yet we see many of the designs hallmarks are
already in place.
