A fine example of a Hispano-Moresque deep lustre bowl, which was produced between the 16th and 18th Centuries. This piece depicts a striking central motif of a bird, surrounded by feather motifs. These motifs are finished in a bold red colour, through which they contrast greatly with their white background. This piece therefore is an excellent example of the sophistication of Hispano Moresque ceramic techniques in this era.
