From the top, the mosaics showing the Horae, the goddesses of the seasons, are arranged according to the seasonal
progression from Spring to Summer to Autumn to Winter, moving clockwise. The marble and coloured stone pieces used here
are very fine, allowing for a smooth, naturalistic and curvilinear depiction of the figures portrayed. The individual panels of
mosaics are all in an excellent state, showing little to no missing individual pieces. The back of the mosaic shows signs from the
removal and the textured surface has been retained.
