A pair of ornate vases, produced in Spain during the 19th century. These vases feature a highly stylised design, which we can see evidenced in the elongated neck, and two large handles which protrude back to the body of the vessel. The vessel is decorated in an ornate repeating motif of blue and red leaves, with two matching motifs depicting a crested lion being presented at the centre of both vases. The motifs of foliage finished in a striking red and blue on this piece were incredibly common in Hispano Moresque vases produced during this era. 187
