. Large jug, buff earthenware coated with a green glaze and has moulded and black painted decoration. The ovoid body rests on a splayed foot-ring, has a wide sloping shoulder, cylindrical tapering neck terminating in an everted and rolled rim and has a handle attached. There are two moulded concentric bands on the shoulder and a collar at the base of the neck. There is a large black painted patch on the front side of the vessel.
