The beauty of Jalisco art is portrayed in this symbolically crafted sculpture. She is adorned with beautiful bracelets and wears a realistic hat. Her ears are pierced and adorned with feather-like ear spools. Her nose is extremely aquiline and the eyes and mouth are hollowed out. Small beads line her shoulders. The artist did not use many colors except to highlight her characteristics in red, which magnify the grace and charm of this work of art. She appears to be in a trance and is unaware of the centuries that have passed before her.
